"It's been a relaxing morning sipping coffee and discussing life and the future with my hubby. In the time that we've been married, so many things in our lives have changed. Some facets of our life have worked out better than we imagined - we could not ask for more amazing children. Other things have not turned out the way we had hoped. Life is like that. We all know it has to rain sometime and sometimes it seems as though the rain is actually hail and it's never going to end. But despite everything we've dealt with in our ten years of marriage and everything we have yet to muddle through, I am at least happy to have my best friend by my side for better or for worse. I could not ask for more in this adventure called life."
This is a recent update of mine on a certain media outlet. I have nothing profound to say today as my time is limited and my brain is not fully awake yet. And thankfully there is no story of any epic disagreement or disciplinary action to share. I share this because this quote would not have happened had it not been for our current DD path. Of that I'm very certain. Despite our hiccups, this is the right life for us and it's bringing us closer and increasing our connection to one another.
I have no idea why my text background is white all of a sudden and can't figure out how to change it. I even deleted the first post and wrote a new one. If anyone has had this happen to me and can tell me how to fix it, that would be fantastic. Otherwise I'll just carry on fiddling with it and cussing at my computer! ;)
ReplyDeleteWhen you are in the blogger 'writing' area, to the upper right you will see a Tx button ( for text) highlight what you want to change, and click the button. This will also work when you copy and paste texts from other places to make the words look like your default text.
DeleteWhat you did was some how click the highlighter button * A with an underline* next to the colour changing A for your fonts.
As for the post, it doesn't always have to be about drama and spankings! LOL
willie
Ah yes - that fixed it. Thank you! I don't mind some drama on my blog, but maybe a little less of the adversarial sort that were my last two DD related posts...lol!
DeleteIt has happened to me as well. It happened when I copied and pasted something. I don't know if this is the problem, but that's what happened to me! Hope this helps!
ReplyDeleteAs for your post.....TTWD or D/s can be absolutely amazing and the connection you feel is beyond words. I too married my best friend and couldn't imagine life any different. I'm happy for you and hope it continues!
Subrina <3
Thank you. I hope it continues too - it's a nice change in our marriage to be able to feel this level of connection!
DeleteThis is so lovely Janey, I'm glad you two are fining the path that is right for you :)
ReplyDeleteNot sure about the text background other than if you did copy and paste that may explain it.
Hugs,
Roz
Oh my goodness Rose, I called you Janey. I'm not sure where my head (or fingers) were at. I apologise.
DeleteThank you. And no worries on the name change...lol. I certainly am very confused about who's who in blogland!
Deleteperfect. Life throws curve balls and you get through them and stay committed and do whatever you can to make your relationship even better.
ReplyDeleteYep. It can be really rough sometimes. I'm so glad that we've found DD. I feel like it's a great tool to help us get through life's unexpected challenges.
DeleteThis was sweet Rose. Isn't it nice when things feel just right even when life isn't perfect?
ReplyDeleteThanks. It is nice to feel this. We are coming off of a really really rough year of marriage. Things are very far from perfect, but they have improved so much more than I thought possible!
DeleteI think this was lovely to share. I'm glad you did. :)
ReplyDeleteThank you!
